| Too Many Clothes, Nothing To Wear? |
 |
 |
 |
New season doesn't have to mean lots of new clothes, you can take old clothes and make them new season! You just need to be resourceful and organised.
A survey by Matalan in The Daily Telegraph showed that
"The average female will spend 287 days rifling through her wardrobe". Sound like you?
We all get bored of our clothes and think that buying something new is the answer, but it's time to change old habits. Don't go spending until you've learned to shop in your own wardrobe. |

Shift Dress The shift is always around and this season it has some new twists. All you Classics and City Chics out there should have at least three shift dresses in your wardrobe. Bring them up to
"now" with a few tucks, tweaks or seasonal accessories.
Shoulders, Puffs and Frills Romantics can bring out old favourites and add more frills! Big shoulders can be fun but make sure they work for you. Naturals can take the boyfriend style and make the shoulders more relaxed; Dramatics may want to go more angular and Classics might go neater on the tailored styles.
Leather Naturals should have a good black or brown leather jacket. Keep wearing them, you'll be bang on trend. Dramatics and City Chics may have a leather skirt or pair of trousers lurking somewhere; now is the time to revive them!
Satin, Sequins and Sheer Romantics will love making the most of the feminine luxury fabrics adorning their wardrobes. Dramatics will love bringing back the 80's sequins and Creatives should have some interesting vintage pieces to dust off.

| Let Summer Linger... |
 |
The sun is getting lower but it's not Autumn yet and you've
still got a nice holiday tan you want to show-off.
Make sure you maintain that healthy summer glow and that your
make-up is working with your tan by
keeping it light and fresh.
Keep using your tinted moisturiser for a few more weeks. Do make sure you have the right tone for your skin. It's always tempting to go darker to look
even more tanned but you need a shade that looks like a natural summer skin tone for you.
colour me beautiful's lightweight
Tinted Moisturiser
with light diffusing properties hydrates the skin whilst balancing your skin tone.
A tan already adds colour to your face and emphasises the eyes so you don't need to go heavy on the lips during the day.
Lip colour
should be kept subtle to medium strength
for a more natural look.
A
sheer colour like Sheer Copper (for warm skin tones) or Sheer Silk (for cool skin tones) is perfect for daytime and you can
upgrade to a gloss for higher shine in the evenings. Try
Mango or Sunset Lip Gloss
(warmer skins) and
Fiesta or
Alfresco Lip Gloss (cool skins).

| Top Tips for Lips |
 |
- Avoid lipstick stains on your teeth by shaping your lips into a big
"O" then apply the lip colour. Once it is applied, put a (clean!) finger in your mouth with lips closed around it and as you pull it out it will take off any excess colour.
- If one of your lips is larger than the other, balance the look by using the lighter shade of the lipstick on the smaller-sized lip.
- If you have thinning lips apply lip base all over and be sure to give a firm pencil outline before and after applying colour.
